SilverQuest was founded by young professionals already successful in their field yet saw the need for a development firm to be established for genuine developers. In the past decade our team has become all too familiar with consultants and organizations that were in the game to commoditise, mass produce and undervalue the art of implementing complex information technology solutions thus deluding the meaning, value and application to customers and their businesses.

There was marginal difference between established consultancies, recruitment agencies and direct contractors as they were basically offering the same service and hoping for the greatest bang-for-buck whilst the real talents were underappreciated, underutilized and unchallenged. Our illustrious sport of kings “Development” became a jousting match of phenomenal discounts, obvious strategies and technical mediocrity between contenders feigning quality by exaggerating their involvement with the leading corporate organizations in the market.

So in March 2005, SilverQuest was launched to concentrate on getting into projects that would test our own teams knowledge and capabilities thus either broadening our technical horizons or sharpening our existing skill-sets. This meant working with a diverse range of projects, varying in industries, budgets and sizes therefore directing our focus towards identifying opportunities by their degree of challenging complexities rather than profitability alone.
